"Our stay at the Ponderosa Lodge was so fantastic we turned it into an annual vacation spot. The Ponderosa Lodge itself is so welcoming, safe, relaxing that you never want to leave. Then to have 12 horses staring in your front windows when you wake up is an experience you don't soon forget! The 2nd story deck was the most enormous, beautiful covered deck I have ever seen. We spent hours just reading and barbeque grilling while soaking in the stunning views. At night we roasted s'mores at the campfire pit. And in between all of it we booked horseback trail rides into the mountains. The first trail ride has us hooked so we booked 2 more right after it. All in all this is one of our family's favorite vacation spots."
