This package is for those who truly want to dig their feet in the dirt and experience the behind the scenes life of a horse ranch owner.

 

Spend 3 days and two nights or as long as 14 days and 13 nights living the actual cowboy lifestyle!

 

You will be up at 5:00 a.m. helping our Ranch hand to turn the horses out then feed them each day with bales of hay thrown into the different pastures and fill the water tubs.

 

Next it's time to muck the 10 horse stalls and the two run in shelters. You will have a break for breakfast and then it will be time to do Ranch repairs fixing past your fencing or weed eating or mowing the pasture.

 

On several of your days you will be working as a trail guide helping us to take City slickers on horseback trail ride adventures! This involves walking the horses in from pasture, cross-tying them so that you can brush fly spray saddle and bridle them. Then we load them into the horse trailer and drive to the destination in the bald eagle state forest. Then you will help to unload and get the guests on their horses while giving instruction.

 

The trail rides are exhausting so you will have time afterwards for a short power nap. And then it will be time to bring the horses in for the night.
